This Privacy Policy describes how Studio Myata LLC ("Studio Myata", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit our website at studiomyata.com or when you contact us. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this document.

Studio Myata LLC is an interior design studio registered and operating under the laws of Ukraine. Our registered office is at 14 Knyazya Romana St, Lviv 79000, Ukraine. For any privacy-related enquiry you may contact us at privacy@studiomyata.com.

We collect different categories of personal data depending on how you interact with us:
2.1 Data you provide voluntarily
- Contact form submissions: full name, email address, a description of your project enquiry, and any other information you choose to include in your message.
- Direct correspondence: email address, name and any personal information contained in messages you send us by email or telephone.
2.2 Data collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages visited on our website and timestamps of visits.
- Cookie and analytics data: where you have given your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the website. Details are in Section 6 below.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you have requested;
- To schedule and conduct design consultations, whether in person, by video call or by telephone;
- To manage the professional relationship if you become a client, including project administration, invoicing and communication;
- To operate, maintain and improve the functionality and security of our website;
- To understand how our website is used and improve the content and user experience;
- To comply with our legal obligations under Ukrainian law and, where applicable, EU data protection regulations.

We process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent — for example, when you submit our contact form, accept analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner, or provide personal data for a specific purpose for which we have obtained your explicit agreement. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our business, to respond to enquiries and to protect the security of our website, where such interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Contractual necessity — where processing is required to fulfil a contract for interior design services you have entered into with us or to take steps at your request prior to entering into such a contract.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with a legal or regulatory requirement under Ukrainian law.
5. Sharing Your Personal Data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: we use carefully selected third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and website analytics. These providers process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Professional advisers: accountants, lawyers or other professional advisers who are bound by legal or contractual confidentiality obligations.

Our website uses the following types of cookies:

7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for only as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:
- Contact-form enquiries that do not lead to a project engagement are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are securely deleted.
- Client project records are retained for a period of 5 years following project completion, in accordance with Ukrainian accounting and commercial law requirements.
- Website analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymised form and is not linked to identifiable individuals.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction or alteration. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted internal access to personal data and regular review of our security practices. Where a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, the affected individuals.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. 10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will publish the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
